Anxiety is an essential part of life, which keeps us safe and aware as we encounter stress. However, sometimes anxiety can become persistent, seem uncontrollable and/or excessive. If anxiety is interfering with daily life, it may be possible you have an anxiety disorder.
Symptoms of anxiety include:
- Excessive worry
- Inability to concentrate
- Racing Thoughts
- Panic attacks
- Negative thinking
- Physiological response, including heart racing, dizziness or nausea.
In treating anxiety, we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in conjunction with other evidence based treatments.
